What we collect

When you book an appointment and pay a deposit, we collect your name, email address, and booking details (date, time, service, and the business you book with). We do not store your card details or billing address.

Payments

Deposits are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your card details and billing address directly and securely — that information goes to Stripe, not to us, and is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

Why we use it

We use your data only to process your booking and deposit. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).

Who we share it with

We share your data with Stripe (to take payment) and with the business you book with (your name, email, and booking details only, so they can fulfil your appointment). Businesses are contractually required to use this data only to fulfil your booking — not to spam, sell, or otherwise misuse it.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your booking data only for as long as needed to provide the booking and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing contact@parlourhq.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to run the site and process your booking — no advertising or cross-site tracking.
